FBISD looking for individuals interested in serving on the Districtwide Educational Improvement Council
Flour Bluff ISD is looking for individuals to serve on the Districtwide Educational Improvement Council (DEIC). The DEIC advises the Superintendent in establishing and reviewing the District’s educational goals, objectives and major Districtwide classroom instructional programs. The DEIC serves exclusively in an advisory role and approves districtwide staff development.
The Districtwide Educational Improvement Council is composed of members who represent campus-based professional staff, District-level professional staff, parents, businesses and the community. This council will meet three times during the 2018-2019 school year. Meetings will be held at the Flour Bluff ISD Administration Building.
The DEIC is key in assisting with the growth and improvement of Flour Bluff ISD. The parents, community members and staff serving on the DEIC provide feedback and recommendations to district leadership on how to move forward together to ensure Flour Bluff ISD continues to be a top rated district.
