The Flour Bluff ISD Department of Special Education provides students with services and support to achieve success through the general education curriculum. A complete continuum of services is available on all campuses to support academic, behavioral, social, functional, vocational, and communication needs for all qualifying students. Services that include occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling, speech, and transportation, are also provided for students who meet the eligibility criteria.
Child Find is a component of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) 2004. This program requires school districts and charter schools to locate, evaluate and identify any student with a disability ages birth to 21 years. For more information, please call (361) 694-9231.
