FBISD Athletic Media Credential Request

Flour Bluff Independent School District welcomes media outlets to provide coverage of Flour Bluff ISD athletic events. Due to the increasing number of media credential requests, FBISD follows UIL Media Guidelines and has established the following credentialing process to help ensure the safety and accessibility of student-athletes, coaches, staff, spectators, and members of the media.

Media credentials are required for access to designated media areas, including press boxes and playing fields. Submitting this form does not guarantee approval. All requests will be reviewed by the Flour Bluff ISD Communications Department and/or Athletics Department, and credentials will be issued only to approved media representatives.

Media credentials are intended for individuals representing legitimate media outlets that regularly produce original coverage. FBISD reserves the right to deny or revoke credentials for noncompliance with these guidelines or for conduct deemed inappropriate for a school-sponsored event.

By submitting this request, I acknowledge and agree to follow all Flour Bluff ISD and applicable UIL media guidelines, including:

  • Media credentials must be visible at all times.
  • Media must remain in designated media areas and outside team areas.
  • Football sideline access requires media to remain at least 5 yards from the sideline and between the 25-yard line and end zone.
  • Coaches and student-athletes may not be approached for interviews without prior approval from FBISD Athletics staff.
  • Live streaming and telecasting require prior approval from FBISD.
  • Games may not be filmed or broadcast in their entirety; permitted footage is for approved highlight purposes only.
  • Media may not enter the court during volleyball or basketball games.
  • Flash photography is prohibited.
  • Press box access is limited and is not guaranteed.
