My name is Chris Steinbruck, and I am honored to announce that the Flour Bluff ISD Board of Trustees has named me as the Superintendent for this great district of Flour Bluff ISD.

I have met many of you through my tenure here as Athletic Director, Administrator, Coach, and Teacher. However, I wanted to take this opportunity to share a little about myself as I have not had the opportunity to meet everyone. Flour Bluff ISD has been my home for the past 22 years. My wife Roxann, our 4 children, and I have been proud members of this Flour Bluff ISD community members since 2002.

My wife and I chose Flour Bluff because we firmly believe that our district employs the best teachers and provides unparalleled educational opportunities for all children. Our faith lies strongly in this district which is why all of our children will complete their high school careers as Hornets.

I enrolled and completed the Superintendency program at Texas A&M Corpus Christi because I wanted to be able to serve this community in more of a leadership role that will positively impact our students, staff, and community.

I look forward to working with everyone in our continued pursuit of academic excellence. As Flour Bluff ISD Superintendent, I will continue leading us as the model school district for educational excellence, fiscal responsibility, innovation, and collaboration. It is an honor to be responsible for leading this district.
