The sixth annual Students of Character banquet celebrated Corpus Christi area students on April 24. The banquet recognizes students for exhibiting good character traits. This annual city-wide event shines the light on students who personify positive character traits such as helping others, being honest, kind, sincere, loyal, patient and determined. Students from Calallen ISD, Corpus Christi ISD, Flour Bluff ISD, London ISD, Tuloso-Midway ISD and West Oso ISD were honored during the Students of Character banquet. Guest speaker was Brent Chesney, former Judge for Nueces Country Court of Law and now Nueces County Commissioner, Precinct 4.
This grass-roots effort, initiated by the City of Corpus Christi Mayor’s Office, recognizes students from each school district with-in the city-limits of Corpus Christi. This year, Flour Bluff ISD had 14 students selected as our District’s Students of Character. The students were recognized during a dinner and recognition ceremony at the Boys and Girls Club of Corpus Christi, with London ISD hosting the event.
Congratulations to the FBISD 2018 Students of Character
