Bond 2025 Construction is Underway

Flour Bluff ISD is proud to announce that construction funded by the 2025 Bond is officially underway.

This week, Hellas Construction, a nationally recognized leader in sports facility development, broke ground on the first major project: installing turf at both the baseball and softball fields. These upgrades will allow for year round play, improve safety, and reduce long term maintenance needs.

The new turf will eliminate the need for regular watering, mowing, fertilizing, and seasonal resodding or reseeding. These changes will significantly reduce maintenance costs, equipment use, and labor demands.

Thanks to the continued support of the Flour Bluff, Padre Island, Naval Air Station, and Corpus Christi Army Depot communities, this investment enhances our athletic facilities while lowering operational costs. Flour Bluff ISD remains committed to transparency and responsible stewardship throughout all Bond 2025 projects.
