2026–2027 Pre‑K Pre‑Registration Now Open
Pre‑Kindergarten Pre-Registration for the 2026–2027 school year is now open. Families interested in enrolling their child in the Flour Bluff Early Childhood Center Prekindergarten program may begin the process by completing the district’s Pre‑Registration Form.
This Pre-Registration form is for informational purposes only and does not guarantee enrollment or serve as official registration. Completing this form allows us to gather basic information about families who are interested in Pre-K for the upcoming school year. Prekindergarten enrollment will open April 1, 2026.
Texas Prekindergarten Eligibility
To enroll in Pre‑K for the 2026–2027 school year, a child must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2026 and meet at least one of the following criteria
- Economically disadvantaged
- English Language Learner
- Homeless (as defined by federal law)
- Child of an active-duty member of the U.S. Armed Forces
- Child of a member of the U.S. Armed Forces who was injured or killed while on active duty
- Child who has been or is currently in the care of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (foster care)
- Child of a Texas public-school educator (as allowed under HB2)
- Flour Bluff ISD employee* (*FBISD School Board approved eligibility)
Important Documentation Notice
Eligibility must be verified with required documentation, which will be collected and reviewed after April 1st. Families who complete this pre-registration form and appear to meet eligibility requirements will receive additional information required documentation, timelines, and official registration procedures.
Flour Bluff Early Childhood Center
Flour Bluff Early Childhood Center is a Texas public school and follows the Texas Prekindergarten eligibility guidelines. Our campus serves eligible 4-year-old students only, and children must reside within the Flour Bluff ISD attendance boundaries.
