Bond 2025 is about our community and the spaces where our students learn, play, and grow. It is about providing safe, modern, and functional facilities that benefit students and families alike.
At the Flour Bluff Board of Trustees meeting on February 26, 2026, Pfluger Architects presented some of the design concepts of the Early Childhood Center Renovation, Playgrounds, Skilled Trades Center, NJROTC, Fine Arts, and Stadium projects

Completed
- Auditorium sound system upgrade is finished and fully operational
- Safety cameras installed on district buses
- Five new International diesel buses are now in service
- Water and wastewater lines relocated near the Indoor Practice Facility, preparing for future construction
In Progress
- Traffic flow improvements based on the Pape Dawson study
- Baseball and softball turf installation nearly complete; fields are in use for practices and games
- Demolition of the former Ready Set Go offices is complete; portables are being removed
- Interactive displays have been delivered and are being prepared for installation in PreK to 6th grade classrooms
Coming Soon
- Tennis court resurfacing for students and community use, including tennis and pickleball
- Districtwide modernization projects including HVAC, technology upgrades, fire alarms, and chilled water piping
- Renovation of Junior High mechanical, electrical, ceiling, and plumbing systems for long term reliability
- Delivery of new buses, including one Special Education bus
- Continued design work on major projects including the Oceans and Wetlands Center, Early Childhood Center renovations, Skilled Trades Center, NJROTC, Fine Arts additions, playgrounds, and stadium improvements
Thanks to the ongoing support of the Flour Bluff, Padre Island, Naval Air Station, and Corpus Christi Army Depot communities, Flour Bluff ISD remains committed to transparency and responsible stewardship throughout all Bond 2025 projects.
