Amy Seeds has been named Assistant Principal and Career Technology and Education (CTE) Coordinator at Flour Bluff High School beginning with the 2021-2022 school year. Ms. Seeds is currently the Principal at Flour Bluff Early Childhood Center.
“I am excited to begin a new leadership position in Flour Bluff ISD as an assistant principal at Flour Bluff High School,” said Amy Seeds. “I aspire to grow my professional career as a district administrator and this new role will provide experience as an administrator at the secondary level. It has been a privilege to serve our youngest hornets and look forward to being part of the team that ensures our students are college and career ready as an assistant principal and coordinator for CTE.”
Ms. Seeds’ 23-year career in Flour Bluff ISD includes leading the Early Childhood Center for eight years. In addition, she has been an assistant principal, coach and teacher at various campuses across the District.
“The goal of building capacity within Flour Bluff ISD includes honoring an employee’s request that provides further career opportunities,” said Velma Soliz-Garcia, Flour Bluff ISD Superintendent of Schools. “Ms. Seeds’ dedication to our district and students will be an incredible asset to the Flour Bluff High School campus administrative team.”
The District will immediately begin the process of selecting a new principal for the Early Childhood Center and expects to have an administrator in-place this summer.
