The Flour Bluff ISD District of Innovation Committee is one step closer to finalizing a District of Innovation Plan. The Committee has worked since September to craft a plan that provides flexibilities and/or exemptions from some Texas Education Code requirements. The proposed plan has been available to parents, staff and the community via the District’s website since early October. In addition, the Committee provided a feedback survey for the community to provide input.
On Wednesday, November 13, the Committee will hold a Public Meeting to review feedback from the survey, finalize the DOI plan and approve the plan to be presented to the Flour Bluff ISD Board of Trustees. The Public Meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the FBISD Administration Office, Board Room. The community is invited to attend.
