The Flour Bluff ISD District Educational Improvement Council is looking to fill three vacancies, two parent representatives and one business representative. The Council meets two to three times during the school year.

The Districtwide Educational Improvement Council (DEIC) advises the Superintendent in establishing and reviewing the District’s educational goals, objectives and major Districtwide classroom instructional programs identified by the Board or its designee. Members of the DEIC serve exclusively in an advisory role. In addition, the DEIC approves staff development of a Districtwide nature.

The DEIC is composed of members who represent campus-based professional staff, District-level professional staff, parents, businesses and the community. Individuals interested in serving the District via the DEIC need to complete the online interest form. Click here to access the form. Nominees will be accepted through Sunday, October 25.
