Beginning January 4, 2017, the Flour Bluff Learning Bus will be rolling into Flour Bluff neighborhoods to help students in grades 1 – 8 with homework assignments and reading skills. Students must bring their work. Teachers from Flour Bluff Independent School District will be on board to help tutor and assist students attending FBISD schools (no SDGC students) after school from 4 – 6 p.m. (weather permitting).

The Learning Bus was purchased and renovated by a grant provided from the Flour Bluff ISD Foundation for Educational Excellence, Inc. in April, 2010. Teachers provide one-on-one and group tutoring for the students of Flour Bluff I.S.D. These services are free to any Flour Buff student, in grades 1 – 8, attending Flour Bluff I.S.D.
