Flour Bluff ISD Names Lacey Guzman as Director of Communications and Community Engagement
Flour Bluff ISD is pleased to announce Lacey Guzman as the district’s new Director of Communications and Community Engagement. Guzman brings a strong background in strategic communications, marketing, and community partnership development, most recently serving as the Marketing & Air Service Development Manager at Corpus Christi International Airport.
Since 2023, Guzman has led major marketing, communications, and outreach initiatives for the airport, promoting the value of local air travel and supporting regional air service development efforts. Her work strengthened partnerships with airlines, elevated community engagement, and enhanced the airport’s visibility across the Coastal Bend.
Guzman is an active leader in the region’s marketing and communications community. She currently serves as President-Elect of the American Advertising Federation – Coastal Bend, where she is in her second year on the Board of Directors, supporting programs that recognize excellence in advertising and provide professional development opportunities for industry professionals. She previously served on the Young Professionals of the Coastal Bend Board of Directors, contributing to leadership and community-building initiatives for emerging leaders in the region.
A proud member of Leadership Corpus Christi Class 54, Guzman continues to demonstrate her commitment to community leadership and regional collaboration. In 2024, she was honored as a Corpus Christi Under 40 recipient, for her recognition of her professional achievements and service to the community.
Guzman’s strong communication expertise, dedication to public service, and passion for community engagement make her a valuable addition to Flour Bluff ISD. She looks forward to advancing the district’s communication efforts and strengthening connections with students, families, staff, and the broader community.
