How should FBISD use Federal Education Relief funds

By June 24, 2021No Comments

We have two options for parents and the community to provide input on how Flour Bluff ISD might spend the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds which are federal dollars to address expenses and learning loss associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. In March 2021, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARP) was signed into law by President Biden and included $122 billion ESSER funds for K-12 school districts throughout the United States. Your feedback is important to assist the District in developing a plan to utilize the funds that will provide the maximum benefit for Flour Bluff ISD students.

Two options to provide feedback include:

ESSER III Parent/Community Feedback Survey
Click here to access the ESSER III Parent/Community Feedback Survey. The survey will be open until Monday, June 28, at 6 p.m.

ESSER III Public Meeting/Public Comment
Wednesday, June 30
5: 30 p.m.
Flour Bluff ISD Administration Building, Board Room
