Junior High students place second at UIL One Act Play competition

Flour Bluff Junior High competed in the UIL One Act play competition on Saturday, February 17at Gregory Portland High School. The group placed 2nd overall with their performance of “Walk Two Moons”, a play by Tom Arvetis and based on the novel by Sharon Creech.  The students competed against Tuloso-Midway, Gregory Portland , Baker, Cunningham, and Calallen Middle Schools One-Act play performances.

Additionally, the Flour Bluff students also received individual awards which included:

Tech Award:  Holten Robinson

Honorable Mention All-Star Cast:  Alexis Cantu and Kate Campbell

All-Star Cast:  Emily Long and Chase Hunter
