Leaving a Legacy: Bond 2025 — Grand Slam Celebration
Flour Bluff ISD invites the community to celebrate an exciting milestone as the district nears completion of the 2025 Bond baseball and softball field upgrades.
Community members are invited to attend the Grand Slam Celebration on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Flour Bluff Baseball and Softball fields. The evening will begin with a brief presentation followed by a walk through of the newly upgraded baseball and softball facilities, giving attendees an opportunity to see the improvements firsthand.
These upgrades represent the thoughtful planning, vision, and commitment of the Flour Bluff, Padre Island, NASCC, and CCAD community.
Following the presentation and facility tour, guests are encouraged to stay and enjoy a great evening of Hornet athletics. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., with the Flour Bluff Hornets baseball team hosting Alice while the Lady Hornets softball team takes on King.
The evening will also feature Youth Night. All youth athletes wearing their team uniforms will be admitted free, making it a great opportunity for young players and their families to come out, support the Hornets, and enjoy the new facilities.
The new fields will serve generations of Hornets and reflect the Class, Pride, and Heart that define the Flour Bluff community.
