Due to the school closure and safety precautions surround COVID-19, Flour Bluff ISD will host a condensed summer program. The programs available will be mostly held via virtual learning and will provide the opportunity for students to take part in a variety of academic programs to help students transition to the next grade level.
Beginning June 2, Flour Bluff Intermediate, Junior High and High School campuses will host summer school for students who’s current grades do not meet the criteria for promotion. These summer school programs will be held from June 2 – June 19, Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m. – Noon. Campuses are contacting parents of students who qualify for the program.
From July 13 – July 31, the Early Childhood Center, Flour Bluff Primary and Flour Bluff Elementary will host a jump start summer school program to help students prepare for the new school year. Parents of students who qualify will be contacted by the campuses and invited to participate.
In addition, District’s Student Nutrition will provide grab and go breakfast and lunch meals on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning June 1 through June 30.
