Traffic Improvements Underway Thanks to Bond 2025

Thanks to Bond 2025 and collaboration with the City of Corpus Christi, traffic improvements are currently underway in the Flour Bluff ISD school zone to improve safety, reduce congestion, and keep traffic moving more smoothly for families and staff.

A traffic study conducted by Pape-Dawson identified key opportunities to improve traffic flow. Based on those findings, the City of Corpus Christi is in the process of implementing upgrades designed to increase efficiency and enhance safety throughout the area. Construction and system improvements are ongoing.

Current and planned improvements include:

  • School zone location modifications
  • Signal and detection system upgrades
  • Electrical and lighting improvements
  • Updated signage
  • New ADA ramps to improve pedestrian access between the Natatorium and Dollar General

As work continues, school zone areas across the campus are being modified with updated flashers, signage, and adjusted locations to improve visibility and traffic flow during peak school hours.

Once complete, these Bond 2025 improvements will reflect Flour Bluff ISD’s commitment to putting safety first while supporting a smoother daily commute for our community.
