Message From Flour Bluff ISD

Flour Bluff ISD continues to monitor the weather closely for the upcoming storm. Based on the latest forecast, Flour Bluff ISD offices will be closed for Monday, July 8th. Boys & Girls Club and the Summer Meal Program will be canceled. Employees are not required to report to work unless instructed otherwise by their supervisor, and administration staff will work remotely.

We urge our staff and community to finalize their safety plans, stay informed about the weather, and follow the guidance provided by local authorities. Parade Information

Get ready for an exciting spectacle as the upcoming parade promises to captivate attendees along its 1.4-mile journey. The procession kicks off at the intersection of Compton Road and sets a spirited course heading south on Waldron Road, culminating at the lively Hornet Stadium parking lot. The anticipation builds as participants are set to gather for the parade lineup at 4:30 p.m. sharp, stationed proudly at the juncture of Compton Road and First National Blvd. Mark your calendars for 6:00 p.m. when the grand parade commences, a jubilant display of community spirit and creativity. For a seamless experience, be sure to consult the provided parade map detailing line-up positions and essential check-in instructions that will be conveniently shared ahead of time.

Every entry must be identified by sign or banner.

ABSOLUTELY NO CANDY or items can be thrown from a moving vehicle or float. It is against the city ordinance. Walkers may hand candy out as they walk.

A strict cap of 70 participants has been set for the parade. This will allow us to allocate ample space for spectators to gather and experience this time-honored tradition of the burning of the FB ceremony at the end of the parade.
