Flour Bluff Independent School District Names Alex Weepie as Junior High Assistant Principal
Flour Bluff ISD is proud to announce Alex Weepie as the newest Assistant Principal at Flour Bluff Junior High School. A dedicated educator and leader with a passion for student success, Mr. Weepie brings fourteen years of experience serving the students, staff, and families of FBISD. His commitment to excellence in both academics and athletics has made a lasting impact across the district and helped shape the positive culture that defines Flour Bluff schools.
Mr. Weepie graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree before earning his master’s degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University in 2019. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to student achievement, leadership development, and building meaningful relationships with students and colleagues alike.
During the first nine years of his career, Mr. Weepie taught World Geography, Economics, Government, and Personal Finance at the high school level while also coaching football, basketball, and track. For the past five years, Mr. Weepie has served as the Boys Athletics Coordinator at Flour Bluff Junior High School, where he has helped mentor student-athletes and support campus-wide initiatives that encourage discipline, character, and school pride.
“I am grateful for the outstanding leadership and mentorship of Mr. Steinbruck, Coach Elwood, and Mr. Wallace, which have helped shape me into the educator and leader I am today,” said Weepie.
