Bond 2025 Delivers: New Junior High Track Open for Students and Community
The newly resurfaced track at Flour Bluff Junior High is complete and now open for students, staff, and the entire Flour Bluff community thanks to Bond 2025.
Completed by Hellas Construction, the new track surface enhances safety, durability, and performance while providing a space for recreation, fitness, and wellness. The resurfaced track reflects Flour Bluff ISD’s commitment to investing in facilities that serve students during the school day and the community beyond school hours.
The track is open for public use on weekday evenings following the conclusion of athletic practices and is also available on weekends when school activities are not scheduled. Whether walking, jogging, or training, community members have a place to stay active. Public access is available through the gate located on the side of the Junior High Gym along Laguna Shores Road.
Opening the facility for public use also supports Flour Bluff ISD’s commitment to employee wellness by providing staff with a safe and accessible place to exercise after work. At the same time, the track serves the families and residents of the Flour Bluff, Padre Island, Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, and the Corpus Christi Army Depot communities.
Bond 2025 continues to deliver meaningful improvements that support student success while creating lasting value for the entire community. Investments like the Junior High track resurfacing help ensure Flour Bluff ISD facilities remain safe, modern, and welcoming places where students can excel, employees can thrive, and the community can come together.
