Flour Bluff ISD Announces Charlotte Castaneda as Teacher Incentive Allotment and Assessment Coordinator
Flour Bluff ISD is proud to announce the appointment of Charlotte Castaneda as the district’s new Teacher Incentive Allotment and Assessment Coordinator.
Entering her 12th year in education, Castaneda brings a wealth of experience in instructional leadership, assessment, and accountability. She began her career as an elementary teacher before serving as an assistant principal. Most recently, she served as an Assessment and Accountability Advisor with Corpus Christi ISD, where she partnered with campus and district leaders to support data-informed decision making, state assessment programs, accountability, and the Teacher Incentive Allotment.
In her role, Castaneda will support the implementation of the district’s assessment programs and Teacher Incentive Allotment initiatives, helping strengthen instructional practices and expand opportunities for educators and students alike.
“I am excited to step into this new role as the Teacher Incentive Allotment and Assessment Coordinator for Flour Bluff ISD,” Castaneda said. “I am passionate about helping educators use data to improve student outcomes and creating systems that support both teacher and student success. I look forward to collaborating with teachers and campus and district leaders to ensure meaningful assessment practices while advancing opportunities through the Teacher Incentive Allotment program.”
