At its July 31 meeting, the Flour Bluff ISD Board of Trustees approved several major initiatives supporting Bond 2025. These efforts focus on enhancing facilities, safety, and infrastructure across the district.

District-Wide Traffic Study
The Board approved Pape-Dawson Engineers to conduct a comprehensive traffic study. This study will guide future improvements and identify optimal traffic queuing scenarios at all campuses.

Athletic Facility Upgrades
Hellas Construction was selected to install turf at both the baseball and softball fields—an upgrade that supports student-athletes and improves field conditions year-round.

Architectural Rankings Approved
Architectural rankings were approved for key Bond 2025 projects, including:

  • New CTE/Fine Arts/Gym building

  • ECC addition

  • Playground improvements

  • Stadium renovation

  • Wetland enhancements

  • District-wide door replacements

Utility Design Work
LJA Engineering was chosen to design the relocation of utility lines behind the athletic fieldhouse. This work is a critical first step for upcoming construction in the area.

These approvals reflect ongoing progress toward fulfilling the goals of Bond 2025 and ensuring a safer, more advanced learning environment for all Flour Bluff ISD students.
