Demolition Underway and Portable Buildings Up for Auction

Flour Bluff ISD is continuing progress under the voter-approved Bond 2025 program with the demolition of the former Ready, Set, Go buildings, previously home to the Student Development and Guidance Center (SDGC). This work represents an important step in responsibly updating district facilities and preparing district-owned property for future use.

Demolition of outdated facilities is a necessary part of Bond 2025, which was approved by voters to address aging infrastructure, improve learning environments, and ensure district spaces continue to meet the needs of students and staff. Clearing these buildings helps position the district for future improvements.

In coordination with the demolition, Flour Bluff ISD is currently auctioning the portable buildings located on the Ready Set Go site. The portables are available to the public through an online auction. Additional information about the auction process can be found at https://www.onlinepros.com/auctions/detail/bw154830.

Thanks to the ongoing support of the Flour Bluff, Padre Island, Naval Air Station, and Corpus Christi Army Depot communities, Flour Bluff ISD remains committed to transparency and responsible stewardship throughout all Bond 2025 projects. These projects are already making a lasting impact on students, programs, and facilities across the district.
