Flour Bluff Junior High & Intermediate Math & Science teams bring home top wins

The Flour Bluff Intermediate and Junior High Math/Science teams traveled to San Antonio to compete at Alamo Heights Middle School in the Texas Math and Science Coaches Association (TMSCA) and University Interscholastic League (UIL) contests on Saturday, October 27.  The group either swept the top 10 or took 9 out of 10 in every math event at the contest. In addition, these hard working students  won 7 out of 10 contests in both 7^th Grade Science and 8^th Grade Science.  Our students not only did great individually, but the General Math Team scored  a perfect 1600 points which included four of the students achieving perfect scores.  Extra shout-out to Samuel Zhang, Kyle Xu, Bella Holter, Sammy Regelado, Bella Graves and Jeffrey Diaz for achieving a perfect score in one of their events.
