Flour Bluff NJROTC Wins State – Flour Bluff ISD

On February 21, 2026, the Flour Bluff High School NJROTC added another chapter to its legacy of excellence, capturing its 27th State Championship and fourth consecutive state title at the meet hosted right here at Flour Bluff High School.

As hosts of this year’s State Championship, we could not be more proud of these young men and women. Our unit is recognized as a Distinguished Unit with Academic Honors, a designation that allows us to nominate nine cadets each year to our nation’s elite military academies. That distinction reflects the discipline, academic strength, and leadership our students demonstrate every day.

With 27 State Championships and 17 National Titles, our cadets once again proved what consistent preparation and commitment can accomplish. Competing on their home floor, they delivered a performance that showcased precision, teamwork, and determination.

In a community deeply connected to Naval Air Station Corpus Christi and the Corpus Christi Army Depot, this program represents the very best of what it means to prepare students to serve, to lead, and to make our military community proud. This tradition of excellence continues to be built with class, carried with pride, and earned with heart.
